New Delhi, 8th Nov 2023: A delegation of Bharat Leaders led by Dr. Vijay Jolly, President Delhi Study Group met Bhutan King His Majesty Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck at Taj Palace Hotel, Diplomatic Enclave, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi.
Bhutan King wished Happy Diwali by Delhi Study Group leaders led by Dr. Vijay Jolly (Senior BJP Leader & President Delhi Study Group) and comprising of Narendra Chawla (Former Mayor South Delhi & General Secretary Org. DSG), Smt. Shalu Kumari (Social Media Convenor DSG), Naseem Khan (Manufacturer of Designer Furniture & Jt. Sec. DSG) & Vijendar Yadav (Executive Secretary DSG).
His Majesty King of Bhutan released a printed booklet on Ayodhya Ram Mandir Jalabhishek with 156 nations & 7 continents (including Bhutan) holy water. It may be recalled that on 23rd April 2023 this historical program was successfully organized in Ayodhya in the presence of 41 nations Non Resident Indians. And the King of Bhutan had also sent his Congratulatory Message (copy attached).
Bhutan King in his interaction with Indian leaders profusely praised India’s all round infrastructure development, massive spread of metro rail network, high speed rail transportation, quality of Indian education, success of “Make in India” campaign, India leading the world by distribution of corona vaccines, Indian led multinational global companies including World Bank and India becoming the world’s fifth largest economy today.
His Majesty fondly recollected his 21 years long personal friendship with Dr. Vijay Jolly & Delhi Study Group. To Promote People to People Friendship between India & Bhutan, His Majesty extended a cordial invitation to Delhi Study Group to visit Bhutan soon. Narendra Chawla presented a Ram Navami scarf while Naseem Khan presented a dry fruits box to The King of Bhutan wishing Happy Diwali.
