After decades, direct flights between Nepal and Sri Lanka are resuming from Tuesday.
Sri Lankan Ambassador to Nepal Himalee Arunatilaka informed through Twitter. “To all those friends in Nepal who have been asking me when direct flights will starts; it’s happening on 31 August 2021,” she tweeted.
The airline announced it would restart the flights twice a week between the two cities.
This trigger is expected to boost the tourism between the two countries.
