Nepal successfully launches its first satellite. The launch of the satellite ‘Nepal Sat-1″ takes place in the Mid Atlantic Regional Spaceport at NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility on Virginia’s East Shore, US Eastern time 4: 46 PM yesterday.

The Birds-3 Program is an effort in collaboration with Nepal’s Government and the Japanese Space Agency, (JAXA) which made its lift up successful.

Two Nepali Young Scientist Aabhash Maskey and Hariram Shrestha made Nepal Sat-1.
