Galkot, Jan 17 (RSS): The death toll of Maldhunga bus accident has reached seven. The bus (Ga 1 Kha 6108) heading towards Narayangadh from Beni met with accident at 8:30 am at Maldhunga, the border area between Baglung and Parbat district, according to the District Police Office, Baglung.
Identities of the deceased have yet to be ascertained.
Similarly, 31 others were injured in the accident. Of the injured, two critically injured have been airlifted to Grande Hospital, Kathmandu for treatment while Nepal Army has been urged to make arrangement of helicopter to airlift additional three injured to Kathmandu, said Mayor of Baglung municipality, Janakraj Poudel.
Police said that other injured have been sent to Manipal Hospital, Pokhara for further treatment from Dhaulagiri Zonal Hospital.
The reason behind the accident is not known yet. Colleting the details of deceased and injured were underway.
