Solukhumbu, Oct. 22 (RSS): An Australian national succumbed to high altitude sickness on Monday at Khumbu Pasang Lhyamu Rural Municipality-4 in Solukhumbu district.
Australian national Potter died of high altitude sickness while returning from the Mt Everest Base Camp, according to the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of Solukhumbu Shaligram Sharma.
The police administration said that the 70-year-old Australian national died while efforts were underway to rush him for treatment. The body of Potter is taken to Kathmandu for a postmortem after completing the legal procedures.
